Prepare this delicious Mexican snack based on nixtamalized corn dough, filled with soft refried beans, served with dried spicy sausage, cream, fresh cheese and salsa of your choice.

Ingredients

8 portions
  • 1/2 cups white onion
  • 2 cups sausage
  • 1/2 kilos corn dough
  • 1 tablespoon table salt
  • enough Water, to knead
  • 2 cups black bean, Cooked
  • to taste cream, To accompany
  • to taste green sauce, raw to accompany
  • to taste serrano pepper, sliced to decorate

Preparation

In a frying pan, cook the spicy sausage and the chopped onion at medium heat for 5 minutes or until browned.
Over a clean surface, put the corn dough. Add the salt and some water. Knead with your hands until the masa softens.
Make the tlacoyos filling them with refried beans.
Cook a comal at medium heat for 15 min or until cooked.
Serve while they are still warm and garnish with the spicy sausage mix, queso fresco, sour cream, green salsa and serrano pepper. Enjoy.

PRESENTATION

Serve the tlacoyos with spicy sausage, cream, cheese and raw green sauce.

TIPS

To know if the dough is ready, form a ball with your hands and if it does not open or crack it means that´s ready to form tlacoyos.
