This recipe for fish ceviche is ideal to make it in the summer or on hot days. This dish is very fresh and the step by step to prepare it is simple. The special touch is given by citrus fruits, corn tostadas and some delicious plantain chips. The best part is that you don't need to cook anything for this dish, which makes it very practical as a recipe for cooking.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 4 Fish fillets, 150g c/u of Nile white, saw or snook
  • 1/2 cups lemon juice
  • 4 Vita + ® Grapefruit cups, 170g c /u
  • 1 cup cherry tomato, cut into quarters
  • 3 green tomatoes, cut into cubes
  • 1/2 red onions, filleted
  • 3/4 cups pineapple, cut into cubes
  • 2 serrano peppers, cut into slices
  • 1 avocado, cut into medium cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • enough salt
  • enough black pepper
  • 4 twigs fresh coriander, to decorate
  • enough fried or toasted corn tortilla, To accompany
  • enough plantain, in chips, to accompany

Preparation

Cut the fish into medium cubes and mix with the lemon juice and Vita + ® Grapefruit Cups juice; reserve the fruit segments.
Marinate in refrigerator for about 30 minutes or until the fish changes color.
Remove from refrigerator and mix with green tomato, cherry tomato, onion, pineapple, serrano pepepr, avocado, olive oil, fruit segments that you reserved and season with salt and pepper.
Serves decorated with fresh coriander, served with corn toastadas or banana chips.

PRESENTATION

Serve on a plate, accompanied by corn tostadas or tasty plantain chips.

TIPS

The acids cause the fish protein to be denatured, which is why it is considered "cooked" when marinated with this type of ingredients.
