4 portions
  • 500 grams fish, cut in fillets
  • enough salt and pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Salsa Huichol, la de las Botanas®
  • enough flour, for breading
  • enough panko bread crumbs, for breading
  • enough vegetal oil, for frying
  • 1/2 cups mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon chives
  • 1 tablespoon Salsa Huichol, la de las Botanas®
  • 8 flour tortillas
  • 1/2 cups red onion, filleted, to garnish
  • 1/2 cups cherry tomato, in quarters, to garnish
  • enough fresh coriander, to garnish
  • enough lemon, to accompany


On a cutting board cut the fish into strips, season with salt and pepper.
In a bowl, crack the eggs and whisk together with the mustard and the Huichol Para Botanas® Sauce until it is completely integrated.
Bread the fish fillets by passing them through the flour, the egg mixture and Panko, if necessary repeat the process so that the fish is perfectly covered. Fry in a pan with hot oil until browned and remove excess fat with absorbent paper.
For the hot sauce, mix the mayonnaise with the garlic powder, the scallion and the Huichol Sauce, For Snacks®.
Heat the tortillas on a grill, add the spicy dressing, arrange the fish strips and decorate with purple onion, tomato and cilantro. Serve with lime.


Serve the fish tacos with purple onion, tomato, hot sauce and cilantro. Serve with lemons and enjoy.


The panko is a kind of Japanese breadcrumb, it's very similar to ordinary bread crumbs and serves well as breading and gives that crispy touch to your dishes.
