Ingredients

12 portions
  • 12 mussels, well washed
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 branch celery, finely chopped
  • 1 saladette tomatoes
  • 12 leaves basil
  • 1 spring onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • black pepper

Preparation

Put the mussels washed and drained in a saucepan with boiling salted water for 3 minutes. Remove them and remove the top cover of each one.
Remove the mussel from the shell and put it back in its place. This way it will be easier to eat them. Reserve in a platter.
Cut 2 thin slices of the lemon and cut them into triangular pieces. The rest of the lemon squeeze it.
Stir the chopped celery with diced tomato, chopped basil and finely chopped onion.
Add the lemon juice, oil, salt and pepper and stir. Put about one tablespoon of this mixture on each mussel and decorate with a piece of lemon.

TIPS

Serve very cold.
