If you do not like to eat rice so dry, this recipe for rice with mussels is for you, as it is a bit hot but it is very rich.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 2 jars Mussels in Natural Bogador® *
  • 400 grams rice, (2 cups)
  • 1/2 cups onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes
  • peas, to taste
  • parsley
  • salt, and pepper to taste

Preparation

In a pot sauté the chopped onion. When it has taken color, add the tomato, the chopped parsley and the peas. Season with spices, pepper and salt.
Add the rice and sauté a little to brown. Add the broth to cover the mussels together with a liter of boiling water. 5 minutes before finishing the cooking, add the mussels.
The rice has to be a little briny.
