This way of preparing the octopus is delicious, as it perfumes the seafood with the rich golden flavor of garlic. They are perfect to accompany with rice or with the rich purple onions.

Ingredients

4 servings
  • 200 grams of octopus in pieces, clean.
  • 4 pieces of green lemon just the juice
  • 2 cloves of garlic finely chopped
  • 1 pinch of black pepper
  • 12 cloves of garlic peeled and cut into slices
  • 1 Cup of olive oil
  • to taste of Salt
  • 4 cups of red onion
  • 1 Cup of orange juice
  • 4 pieces of allspices
  • 1 pinch of Salt

    Preparation

    Cook the cleaned octopus pieces until they are soft. The cooking time can vary from 15 to 30 minutes; Take care that they are not hard.
    Drain the octopus pieces and remove the skin if necessary. Soak them in lemon juice with garlic, salt and pepper for 15 minutes.
    Acitrona in sliced ​​garlic in hot oil, add the octopus chips and fry the preparation. It serves.
    For the purple onion: Soak the onion for 10 minutes in boiling water.
    Drain and add the juice of sour orange, fat peppers and salt to taste.
    Let it rest for at least 15 minutes, warm and serve with the octopus.

    TIPS

    IMPORTANT: cook the octopus very well. If you do not find sour orange, you can substitute half of sweet orange and half of vinegar.
