One of the most typical dishes of the state of Sinaloa is the aguachile of shrimp, prepare it and feel as if you were in Sinaloa.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 3 dozens medium shrimp, peeled, clean and cut in half
  • 3/4 red onions, cut into slices
  • 1 cup lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 cucumbers, peeled and cut into strips
  • chile chiltepin, powdered
  • salt, to taste
  • avocados, to decorate
  • fried or toasted corn tortilla, or crackers to accompany
  • 1 avocado, cut into slices

Preparation

Put the lemon juice on the shrimp along with the purple onion, cucumber and salt.
Let stand for 10 - 15 minutes (at this time they will begin to change color) add the chili.
Serve immediately.
