A simple recipe very traditional in the coasts of Sonora. They are cooked in a rich sauce based on tomato and red pepper, which fills them with flavor and when presented with a little white rice, no one will be able to resist them.

Ingredients

6 portions
  • 700 grams shrimp, clean and without head
  • 2 bell peppers, cut into canes
  • 4 tomatoes, cut into cubes
  • 1 onion, girl cut into cubes
  • 2 cubes Knorr tomatísimo
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 whole cloves
  • to taste lemon juice
  • to taste black pepper

Preparation

In a pan, roast the peppers with the onions and garlic with a touch of oil until golden brown. Remove. In the same pan, roast the tomatoes with another little oil until they are well roasted.
Blend a handful of peppers, onions and tomatoes together with the cloves and cubes of Knorr® Tomatísimo®. Add a little water if necessary.
In the pan with a little hot olive oil, fry the shrimp just 5 minutes until they have changed color. Add the liquefied sauce and the remaining peppers and a few drops of lemon. Let boil for 5 more minutes.

PRESENTATION

Serve with white rice prepared with Knorr® Mi Arroz® Blanco.

TIPS

Shrimp can be used for this recipe, you just have to reduce the cooking time.
