Shrimp Burger with Pineapple

Ideal for a barbecue day, this shrimp burger has a delicious teriyaki flavor. To prepare it, follow the step by step of our recipe to marinate fresh shrimp with low sodium Kikkoman® teriyaki sauce, pepper, paprika, habanero pepper and a touch of honey. Enjoy on summer days and don't forget to accompany it with avocado.

  • 1 avocado, (only pulp)
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper
  • 2 cups shrimp, clean and without carcass
  • enough black pepper, to marinate
  • 1 teaspoon paprika, to marinate
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, finely chopped, to marinate
  • 1/2 cups onion, in rings, to marinate
  • 2 habanero peppers, finely chopped, to marinate
  • 1 tablespoon honey, to marinate
  • 1 tablespoon peppermint, finely chopped, to marinate
  • 1 1/2 cups Kikkoman® Reduced Sodium Teriyaki Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil, to grill
  • 4 slices pineapple
  • enough butter, to roast
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1 cup manchego cheese, grated
  • 2 cups bacon, in strips and fried
  • enough tomtato, To accompany
  • enough lettuce, To accompany
  • enough French fries, segment, to accompany


In a bowl place the avocado with the lemon juice, season with salt and pepper and press with a spoon until you get a puree. Reservation.
Mix the clean shrimp with the pepper and paprika evenly. Add the garlic, onion, habanero pepper, honey, peppermint, and Kikkoman® Sodium Reduced Teriyaki Sauce. Incorporate the ingredients and marinade for 10 minutes in the refrigerator.
Pour the sesame oil over a hot grill pan. Put the marinated shrimp together with the onion in rings, cook for 6 minutes and reserve.
Grill the pineapple slices on both sides in the same hot skillet. Reservation.
Place the bases of the hamburger bun on a greased tray, bathe with butter and place the cooked shrimp, cover with grated cheese and gratin for 10 minutes in the oven, at 180 ° C.
Build your burger. Place the avocado puree over the shrimp with cheese gratin; add the onion, pineapple and fried bacon; top. Serve with lettuce, tomato and potato wedges. Enjoy!
