For the caldillo: in the oil the onion, the garlic, the carrots and the potatoes are smoked, the tomato is added and it is seasoned very well, the water is added with the powder broth or the salt to the taste.
Let boil covered and simmer for 10 minutes or until the potatoes are cooked.
For the meatballs: Mix the ground shrimp with the dough and the rest of the ingredients, make the balls and put them in the caldillo, let them boil until they are cooked.
They are served very hot.
