This delicious Red Snapper in Corn Husks is different way to cook fish. The recipe is so easy that you only need 9 ingredients to prepare it and it's ready in 20 minutes!

Ingredients

4 servings
  • 4 pieces of red snapper filet
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • to taste of Salt
  • to taste of black pepper
  • 5 pieces of corn leaf
  • 3/4 of Cup of sour cream
  • 3/4 of Cup of asadero cheese in slices
  • 1 Cup of poblano pepper in rajas
  • 1 Cup of corn kernels

    Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 180 °C. (356°F)
    On a cutting board season the fish fillets with olive oil, salt and pepper on both sides.
    Place the corn husks on a tray, arrange the fish fillets and add the cream, the asadero cheese, the chile poblano and the corn kernels.
    Wrap and close as if it were a tamal. Bake for 20 min or until the fish is done.
    Remove from the oven and serve hot, accompany with red rice.

    PRESENTATION

    Serve with the corn husks and with red rice.

    TIPS

    If you don't have an oven, you can do it in a steamer.
