This dish of shrimp with garlic is inspired by epañola cuisine and served with bread to soak in the sauce.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 24 shrimps, raw unpeeled
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 125 grams unsalted butter, cut into cubes
  • 1 lemon, skin and juice
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, freshly chopped

Preparation

Peel and clean the shrimp leaving the tails whole. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet. Pour the shrimp and medium-high heat and fry them 1 minute on each side until they are sewn. Remove and keep warm.
Fry the garlic 1 minute, add the butter and cook for 4 minutes, until it acquires the color of a nut. Remove from heat and add skin and lemon juice and parsley to garlic butter.
Shake the pan quickly to mix the contents, add the shrimp and turn them to heat them. Put them in each dish and sprinkle with the juice of the pan.
