This season of Lent indulge yourself with these delicious shrimp devil that you will love. They have a combination of guajillo chile, chipotle chile and chile de árbol that make them extremely spicy. Ideal for lovers of spicy food!

Ingredients

4 servings
  • 8 pieces of guajillo chili pepper deveined
  • 3 pieces of Chile de árbol pepper
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1/4 of piece of onion
  • 2 pieces of chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
  • 2 spoonfuls of Extra Special Olive Oil®
  • 2 spoonfuls of Butter
  • 1/4 of piece of onion finely chopped
  • 2 pieces of tomato finely chopped
  • 1 pinch of Great Value® salt
  • 1 pinch of black pepper
  • 2 spoonfuls of Extra Special Olive Oil®
  • 4 cups of medium shrimp cleansed
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of Great Value® salt
  • 1/4 of teaspoonful of black pepper
  • 2 spoonfuls of coriander finely chopped

    Preparation

    Boil water in a pot over medium heat. Remove from heat and soak the guajillo and the tree chiles for 5 minutes or until they soften.
    Blend the chilies with the garlic, onion, chipotle chili and a little of the chilli soaking liquid.
    In a small pot over medium heat, heat the butter and oil. Fry the onion until transparent and add the tomato. Add the sauce and cook about 10 minutes until it thickens. Season with salt and pepper.
    In a deep frying pan over medium heat, fry the shrimp with the olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Add the sauce and mix very well. Cook 5 more minutes and finish with chopped coriander.
