Ingredients

4 portions
  • 3 tablespoons Oli de Nutrioli® Extra virgin Olive Oil, for the teriyaki sauce
  • 1 garlic, finely filleted, for the teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, finely filleted, for the teriyaki sauce
  • 1 cup raw sugar, for the teriyaki sauce
  • 1/2 cups soy sauce, for the teriyaki sauce
  • 1/4 cups rice vinegar, for the teriyaki sauce
  • 1/4 cups mirin (sweet rice vinegar), for the teriyaki sauce
  • 1 teaspoon chili flake, for the teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tilapia fillets
  • 4 cups vegetable, such as broccoli, cauliflower, carrot, or turnip lightly cooked in salted water
  • 2 cups rice, steamed to accompany
  • enough chili flake, to decorate
  • enough cambray onion, filleted, including stems, for garnish
  • enough toasted sesame seeds
  • enough chili flake

Preparation

Heat a frying pan over medium heat, pour in extra virgin Nutrioli® Oli Oil, add the garlic, ginger, and brown sugar and cook for 3 minutes; Add the soy sauce, rice vinegar, mirin and chili flake, reduce until the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes. Reservation.
Heat another pan over medium heat with extra virgin Nutrioli® Oli Oil and seal the fish on both sides, remember to previously season with salt and pepper; Lower the heat and cover the pan. Cook for 5 minutes, remove from heat and reserve.
On a plate, serve a bed of vegetables, top with the fish and pour the teriyaki sauce; Garnish with sesame, chili flake, chambray onion and serve with steamed rice.
