Oven baked croquettes

I share the traditional recipe for some tuna croquettes but without frying them; only cooked in the oven. Of course I also give you the option to fry them here you decide! As well as several options of sauces to accompany them.

Ingredients

  • 3 pieces of potato
  • 4 cans of tuna in water
  • 2 spoonfuls of onion finely chopped
  • 2 spoonfuls of coriander finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of chicken bouillon powder
  • 2 pieces of egg
  • to taste of salt and pepper
  • 90 grams of cream cheese
  • 3 spoonfuls of panko
  • 1/2 Cup of ketchup for ketchup sauce with chipotle
  • 2 pieces of Chipotle pepper for ketchup sauce with chipotle
  • 2 pieces of avocado for avocado sauce
  • 2 spoonfuls of coriander for avocado sauce
  • 1 piece of lemon just the juice, for the avocado sauce
  • 2 pieces of chile serrano Tatemados leaving the skin, for the avocado sauce
  • to taste of salt and pepper for avocado sauce

    Preparation

    In a pot, pour 2 cups of water and let it boil. When it is at its boiling point add the potatoes. Let cook for 20 minutes, prick with a fork, if it passes without problems and the potato slips from the fork is ready; if it happens, stop for 5 more minutes. Turn off the heat and drain, with a step potatoes crush the potatoes until a puree.
    Drain the tuna water and pour it into a bowl with the onion, potato, cilantro and cream cheese. Add all the ingredients, season with broth, salt and pepper. Form the croquettes of the desired size and giving them an oval shape or as fingers.
    In a bowl beat the egg, pass the croquettes and then breading. Repeat this procedure with each of the croquettes. Place them on a baking sheet with non-stick paper.
    Bake for 10 minutes on each side to brown well at a temperature of 180 ° C.
    For the ketchup, blend the ingredients.
    For the avocado sauce, blend the ingredients.

    PRESENTATION

    Emplata the croquettes, accompanied by vegetables or fresh salad and with the options of sauces.

    TIPS

    To fry them in coconut oil for 2-3 min on each side until lightly browned. Remove them and drain the excess fat with the help of a kitchen napkin. You can serve with rach dressing too.
