This Lent do not leave the tacos al pastor and prepare this incredible version of tuna tacos al pastor with the classic garnishes of onion, cilantro and pineapple. Served on warm corn tortillas and accompanied by a delicious green sauce. With this recipe you will not notice the difference!

Ingredients

4 servings
  • 3 pieces of guajillo chili pepper deveined and soaked
  • 1/4 of piece of onion
  • 1/2 Cup of orange juice
  • 25 grams of achiote
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 teaspoonful of cumin
  • 1 teaspoonful of oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of Salt
  • 8 envelopes of Marina Azul® tuna in olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • to taste of salt and pepper
  • 8 pieces of Corn tortillas
  • to taste of White onion finely chopped, to serve
  • to taste of coriander finely chopped, to serve
  • to taste of pineapple in cubes, to serve
  • to taste of green sauce To accompany
  • to taste of green lemon To accompany

    Preparation

    Blend the guajillo chili with onion, orange juice, achiote, garlic, cumin, oregano and salt.
    Marina Azul® Marina Tuna in olive oil with the previous preparation for 20 minutes.
    Heat a pan over medium heat with the olive oil and cook marinated tuna a few minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
    Serve tuna over hot corn tortillas and serve with cilantro, onion and pineapple. Add a few drops of lemon and sauce.

    PRESENTATION

    Serve the tacos with onion, cilantro and pineapple. Acomapaña with green or red sauce.

    TIPS

    Soften the guajillo chile, soaking it in hot water for 15 minutes. This will make it easier to liquefy it.
