This fish recipe I love to prepare any day of the week when I did not have time to plan the meal. The touches of oriental flavor lift the fish and go perfect with rice or couscous.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 4 white fish, as a red snapper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons mirin (sweet rice vinegar)
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/4 cups cambray onion, chopped, the white and green part only
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, finely grated

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 350 F or 180 Celsius.
Mix the oil, lemon juice, rice vinegar, Dijon mustard, honey, and ginger in a bowl. Stir well and season with salt and pepper. Add the chopped onion in thin slices.
Oil a pyrex with some butter or oil and put the fish. Cover with the prepared sauce and marinate 5 minutes.
Bake for 10 minutes or until the fish is cooked (depends on the thickness of the fish).
Remove from the oven and serve with sauce on top.

PRESENTATION

It is very rich with couscous or white rice.

TIPS

If you do not care about the calories, you can also cook it in a pan with the sauce and it's very good.
