Ingredients

1 portion
  • 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped white
  • 1/2 celeries, finely chopped
  • 1 carrot, peeled and chopped
  • 30 grams ground beef
  • 3 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 cups Water
  • 50 grams short pasta
  • 1 pinch basil

Preparation

Heat the oil in a small skillet over medium heat. Add the onion, celery and carrot and cook for 2 minutes.
Add the beef and cook for 5 more minutes or until the meat changes color.
Add the tomato and water, bring to a boil. Lower the heat, cover and cook over low heat for 20 minutes.
Add the basil. Cook for 5 more minutes.
Meanwhile cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package.
Transfer the sauce to a blender and puree it. Mix with the pasta and serve hot.

PRESENTATION

This recipe is for 2 servings for a 7 month old baby or 1 serving for a 10 month old baby. For older children double for 1 serving.

TIPS

More water can be added for a less thick consistency.
