There are very easy recipes in the kitchen, like making quesadillas, but even the most basic dishes can have a twist of flavor, that's why we leave you this delicious combination of potato, sausage and cheese. This quesadilla recipe can be an ideal complete dinner meal since it contains all the food groups. It is a very common dish in Mexican homes, in addition to being easy to prepare.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 2 tablespoons vegetal oil
  • 1 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 6 Turkey Fud® Sausages, cut into slices
  • 1 1/2 cups potato, cooked, diced
  • to taste salt
  • tortillas
  • 2 cups Oaxaca cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup red onion, filleted
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • to taste salt
  • to taste cream, To accompany
  • to taste cheese, To accompany
  • to taste lettuce, To accompany

Preparation

Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan and sauté the onion with the Turkey Fud® Sausages for a few minutes, add the potato and sauté for a few more minutes (8 minutes in total), remove and reserve.
In a griddle over medium heat, heat the corn tortillas, stuffed with cheese and the Turkey Fud® Sausage stew, remove from the heat when the cheese melts.
For the onions, mix the red onion with the oregano, lemon juice and salt. Marina for a few minutes and reserve.
Garnish the quesadillas with cream, lettuce, cheese, and pickled onions.

PRESENTATION

Serve with cream, cheese, and pickled onions.

TIPS

If you wish, you can add FUD Chorizo De Pavo to the potatoes.
