Ingredients

4 servings
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup of amaranth flour
  • 1/2 cup of whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup of amaranth
  • 4 tablespoons of chia
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 2 envelopes of Splenda® Naturals Stevia
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon of liquid vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1 cup of skim milk Light
  • enough of cooking spray oil
  • to taste of raspberry
  • to taste of blueberry
  • to taste of peppermint to decorate
  • to taste of Splenda® Naturals Stevia to decorate
  • to taste of chocolate melted, to decorate

Preparation

In a bowl with the help of a fork, crush the banana. Reservation
Mix the amaranth flour with wholemeal flour, amaranth, chia, cinnamon, Splenda® Naturals Stevia. Add the eggs, the banana, the vanilla essence, the baking powder, the milk and whisk until integrated.
Sprinkle a little cooking oil in a skillet, heat over medium heat, pour a little of the hotcakes mixture and cook for 3 minutes on each side.
Serve with raspberries, blueberries and garnish with mint and melted chocolate

TIPS

A packet of Splenda® Naturals Stevia is one serving and sweetens like two teaspoons of sugar. You can substitute amaranth flour for oatmeal.
