The cactus tortillas are the ideal option to add to your daily diet a significant amount of fiber that will help you reduce the sugar in your system. With this delicious and warm tortillas you can prepare and accompany any kind of food.

Ingredients

30 portions
  • 2 nopales
  • 1 cup fresh coriander
  • 2 tablespoons nixtamal corn masa flour, cactus
  • enough Water
  • 1/2 kilos corn dough
  • enough salt

Preparation

Blend the cactus with the cilantro, the cactus flour and a little water until you get a smooth mixture. In a bowl, mix the corn dough with the previous mixture little by little and season with salt. Knead until a smooth, moist dough is obtained.
On a board, form balls of dough of approximately 20 grams, in a tortilla press lined with plastic, place the ball in the middle and form the tortilla, set aside.
Heat a comal or grill over medium heat and cook the tortilla until it inflates, repeat the process until the desired amount of tortillas is formed.
Serve and enjoy.

PRESENTATION

Prepare a quesadilla of Oaxaca cheese with epazote.

TIPS

Add the cactus mixture to the dough little by little so that you do not have excess liquid and get soggy.
