Cannelloni Stuffed with Chard and Cottage Cheese

A simple recipe but with a delicious taste, try these exquisite cannelloni stuffed with Swiss chard and cottage cheese, you will love it.

Ingredients

  • 10 crepes
  • 250 grams of curd
  • 1 bunch of chard fresh (only leaves are used)
  • 1 egg
  • 50 grams of Parmesan cheese
  • 1 onion chopped and sautéed in a little oil
  • Salt
  • white peppers
  • nutmeg

    Preparation

    Prepare the pancakes with salt and without sugar, reserve them.
    Wash the chard, remove the leaves and reserve them. Put a pot with a small amount of water and when it is boiling, put the chard leaves to cook. Let them cook for 7-8 minutes. Strain and let cool. Then, drain well to remove as much water as possible. Chop and reserve.
    In a bowl place the cottage cheese, add the chopped Swiss chard, the onion sautéed, the grated cheese, the egg, the nutmeg, salt and pepper to taste. Mix well to integrate the ingredients. Fill the pancakes.
    Place in a rectangular baking dish a little tomato sauce, the cannelloni, another layer of sauce and finish covering them with the white sauce. Sprinkle with grated cheese and cook at 180 degrees for approx. 30 to 40 minutes. Serve immediately. How rich are they?

    TIPS

    Stuffed cannelloni and before salting can be frozen. When they think to use do not defrost them but salsearlos and cook them directly. Increase the cooking time to 50 minutes.
