Do not let the diet take away the pleasure of eating a hamburger, prepare it in a healthy way by replacing the bread with lettuce and eat hamburgers when you feel like it.

Ingredients

6 portions
  • 1 1/9 kilos ground beef
  • black pepper
  • salt
  • 1 onion, in slices (optional)
  • oils
  • blue cheese dressings, to taste
  • lettuce
  • 1 egg
  • English sauces, to taste

Preparation

Preheat the grill over high heat.
Mix the ground meat, the egg, the English sauce, salt and pepper.
Prepare the hamburgers. Divide the meat into 6 equal portions and with wet hands form burgers 10 cm wide and 2 cm thick. (It is not necessary to compact the meat too much) Season both sides with salt and pepper.
Put the hamburger meats on the hottest part of the grill and cook until its internal temperature reaches 63 degrees (about 4-6 minutes per side).
One minute before the meat is ready, put the blue cheese on top.
Prepare the hamburgers. Put the meat with the dressing on the lettuce and wrap to cover the meat as if it were the bread.
