Rice with Healthy Milk

If you love rice with milk but prefer not to eat it because you are afraid of getting fat, prepare this rice with very rich and healthy milk based on coconut milk, with a touch of citrus, cinnamon and vanilla essence. This version of arroz con leche will delight you for a dessert without guilt.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup of Water
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla
  • 1 piece of cinnamon slit
  • 1 Cup of whole-grain rice
  • 3 cups of coconut milk
  • 1/4 of Cup of coconut sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon zest sour
  • 1 tablespoon of yellow lemon zest
  • to taste of raspberry to decorate
  • to taste of Fresh mint to decorate
  • to taste of cinnamon powder to decorate

    Preparation

    Heat a deep pot with the water, vanilla essence and cinnamon, cook the rice so that it softens for 15 minutes.
    Add the coconut milk, sugar, lemon zest and cook until the rice is well cooked. Let it cool.
    Serve the rice with milk in glass cups and decorate with raspberries, mint and sprinkle powdered cinnamon.

    PRESENTATION

    Serve the arroz con leche in small glasses and decorate with raspberries, fresh mint and sprinkle a little cinnamon powder.
