Whole Rice and Quinoa with Mushrooms

Enjoy all the flavor without neglecting your figure with this delicious option of brown rice with quinoa, the mushrooms give a unique touch and the thyme a subtle and delicious flavor that you will love.

Ingredients

4 servings
  • 2 spoonfuls of coconut oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic finely chopped
  • 1 Cup of mushroom filleted
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of thyme
  • 1 Cup of whole-grain rice
  • 1/2 Cup of quinoa
  • 2 1/2 cups of Water
  • 2 teaspoons of Salt
  • 1 pinch of ground black pepper
  • 3 spoonfuls of parsley finely chopped

Preparation

Heat the coconut oil in a medium pot, add the garlic and sauté for 1 minute, add the mushrooms and sauté for 2 more minutes. Add the thyme, rice and quinoa, mix perfectly and add the water and season.
Let it boil for 3 minutes, lower the temperature and cover, cook for 25 more minutes or until the rice is cooked.
Uncover and mix with a spoon, continue cooking until the water has evaporated, add the parsley and mix. Rectify the seasoning.

PRESENTATION

Serve in an extended dish and enjoy.

TIPS

Let the rice rest when you have turned it off for 5 minutes covered.

En mi caso el arroz no se cocio bien unos granitos kedaron crudo y otros cocidos si los zasone bien no se porke...será la porke antes de freirlos algunos granitos eran color verdecito
