Ingredients

4 servings
  • 3 tomatoes cut in quarters
  • 1 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
  • 1 cup of Water
  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
  • 2 white onions filleted
  • 1 clove of garlic finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of Knorr® Switzerland Chicken Broth
  • 400 grams of breast cooked and shredded
  • 1 leave of bay (laurel)
  • 12 corn tortillas for the flauta
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil to fry
  • 6 green tomatoes for the sauce
  • 1/8 of white onion for the sauce
  • 1 clove of garlic with the peel, for the sauce
  • 2 Green Chiles without stems, for the sauce
  • 1/4 of cup of Water for the sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh coriander for the sauce
  • 1/2 avocado for the sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon of Knorr® Switzerland Chicken Broth for the sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of sour cream to decorate
  • 1/2 avocado in slices, to decorate
  • 1 tomtato cut into strips, to decorate
  • 4 tablespoons of fresh cheese grated, to decorate
  • enough of fresh coriander to decorate

Preparation

For the caldillo, mix the tomatoes with the chipotle chili and the water until you get a homogeneous sauce.
In a pan over medium heat, heat the oil and cook the onion until transparent. Add the garlic and cook a few seconds more. Add the tomato sauce and season with Knorr® Switzerland chicken broth, cook for 5 minutes.
Add the cooked chicken to the preparation and the bay leaf, cook about 20 minutes or until the tomato is cooked and the liquid has been reduced. Remove and cool.
Fill the tortillas for flautas with the chicken tinga and roll it up. If necessary, secure with a toothpick.
Heat a pan over medium heat with the oil and fry the flautas until golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper and reserve.
For the sauce, roast the tomatoes, onion, garlic and chili peppers on a medium heat, remove and peel the garlic. Blend the above with water, cilantro, avocado and season with Knorr® Switzerland chicken broth.
Serve the flautas on a plate dipped in the sauce, garnish with sour cream, slices of avocado, tomato, fresh cheese and coriander leaves.

PRESENTATION

Serve the flautas dipped in the sauce and garnish with onion, fresh cheese, cream and avocado.

TIPS

If you want a healthier option, you can bake your flautas at 180°C (356°F) with a little oil spray, until they are crispy.
