This recipe inspired by the delicious northern dish is an excellent option to try something different. Perfect to share in the company of the people you love.


4 portions
  • 2 carrots
  • 1/4 onions
  • 1/2 bell pepper
  • 1 pumpkin, median
  • 10 green beans
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 12 flour tortillas
  • 3/4 cups Chipotle BBQ Sauce Hunt's ®
  • 1/2 oranges, just the juice
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 3/4 cups sour cream, for the dressing
  • 2 tablespoons Chipotle BBQ Sauce Hunt's ®, for the dressing


Mix the Hunt's ® Chipotle BBQ Sauce with the orange juice. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Peel the carrot and finely chop, marinade with a bit of the Chipotle Hunt's® BBQ Sauce. Chop the onion, pepper and squash and marinate in another bowl with another part of the sauce. Cut the chicken into small cubes and marinate with the remaining sauce. Let rest all for 20 minutes.
In a hot pot add the carrots and cook a few minutes over low heat. Add the rest of the vegetables and cook a little more. Finally add the chicken and cook moving constantly until it begins to brown the chicken and is well cooked. Remove from the fire.
While cooking, mix the cream with the Chipotle Hunt's ® BBQ Sauce to make the dressing.
Heat an omelet, spread it on a plate and add a teaspoon of the dressing.
To assemble the chimichanga take a portion of the chicken with vegetables and place it in the center of the tortilla. Fold one side of the tortilla over the chicken, then take the left and right side and wrap them inwards. Finally turn the chimichanga so that the last tortilla fold is below.
Preheat a frying pan with little oil. Take the chimichanga carefully and put it in the pan in the same position that was wrapped so that it does not unfold. Fry until browned and then fry the opposite side.
Serve hot and use the rest of the BBQ dressing to accompany them.


You can use a sprig of parsley or cilantro to color it and decorate it with the dressing.
