This is a very rich tasty recipe for the season, prepare these national holiday a delicious chile where the cream sauce of the nogada, and the sweet delight of filling and the acidity of the pomegranate seeds will fill your mouth with an explosion of flavor.

Ingredients

6 portions
  • 2 cups walnut, in halves for the nogada
  • 1 1/2 cups evaporated milk, for the nogada
  • 1/2 cups cream, reduced in fat, for the nogada
  • 150 grams Double cream cheese, for the nogada
  • 1 tablespoon dry sherry, for the nogada
  • 2 tablespoons sugar, for the nogada
  • 2 tablespoons oil, for the filling
  • 2 tablespoons white onion, chopped, for the filling
  • 200 grams ground beef, beef sirloin, for filling
  • 200 grams ground beef, loin of pork, for filling
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Knorr® Switzerland Chicken Broth
  • 1/2 plantain, peeled and cubed, for filling
  • 1 Red Apple, cut into cubes
  • 1 peach, cut into cubes
  • 1/2 cups raisin
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1 pinch whole clove, ground
  • 6 poblano peppers, roasted and seedless

Preparation

For the nogada sauce, liquefy the nuts, evaporated milk, cream, cheese, sherry and sugar (add a little water if necessary so that it is thick and without lumps) Refrigerate.
For the filling, heat the oil and fry the onion with the two types of meat until golden brown and well cooked.
Season with Knorr® Switzerland Chicken Broth, add the fruits, raisins, cinnamon and cloves.
Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes stirring from time to time.
Fill poblano peppers with the previous mixture and cover with the nogada sauce. Serve.

TIPS

Garnish with pomegranate seeds and fresh parsley leaves
