Delicious coastal broth from mantaraya and shrimp, is a typical Mexican recipe from the state of Sonora. It is a very tasty broth that uses mantaraya, shrimp, vegetables and spices.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 1/2 kilos fish, mantaraya in fillet
  • 250 grams shrimp
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 twig celery
  • 5 tomatoes
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 onion
  • oils, necessary amount
  • 1 cup mashed tomatoes
  • 1 pinch oregano
  • 1 pinch cumin
  • salt, to taste
  • black pepper, to taste
  • Green Chiles, to taste

Preparation

In a deep pot, garlic, onion, carrot, celery, chilli are placed in the following order.
Add the liquefied or finely chopped tomatoes together with the puree.
Fill with water to allow the carrot to cook, add the various spices.
The mantaraya is minced and added when the vegetables are cooked.
Finally, add the shrimp and rectify the salt.

PRESENTATION

Serve with tortilla chips and / or corn tortillas.

You can add coriander to the end
