Arab Tacos with McCormick® Chicken Broth

Arab tacos are a Mexican appetizer very popular in the state of Puebla. It is a product of the mixture of two culinary cultures, the Mexican and the Arab. The taste of McCormick® Chicken Broth, spices, vinegar, lemon, lamb meat and pita bread make this recipe a delicacy. Accompany these tacos with a delicious sauce of chile meco and vinegar that we include in the recipe.

6 portions
  • 2 cubes McCormick® Chicken Broth
  • 1 kilo lamb meat, in steak (can be substituted for pork steaks: leg or loin)
  • 8 lemons, use your juice
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 bunch parsley
  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano McCormick®
  • 1 teaspoon McCormick® Ground Cumin
  • 6 garlic
  • 3 onions, filleted
  • 2 leaves dry laurel
  • 100 milliliters oil
  • pita breads
  • 1 teaspoon McCormick® Granulated Chicken Broth, (for the sauce)
  • 1/2 kilos chipotle chili, dry (for sauce)
  • 1 tablespoon Oregano McCormick®, (for the sauce)
  • 1/2 cups vinegar, (for the sauce)
  • 10 garlic, (for the sauce)


Blend McCormick® Chicken Broth, lemon juice, vinegar, parsley, thyme, oregano, cumin and garlic.
File the onion.
Cut the lamb into strips.
Add the lemon with the spices to the lamb. Add the onion and laurel, marinate for 3 hours.
Pour the oil in a pan and roast the meat.
For the sauce: add all the ingredients in the blender and grind, if necessary, add a little cooking water for the chilies.
Serve with tortillas and salsa.


Serve the tacos in a tray accompanied by the rich meco chili sauce.


You can marinate the meat the night before and store it in the refrigerator.

Pues tiene buen sabor, pero aún no saben cómo los de Puebla, tienen un sabor muy condimentado y necesita tener un mayor sabor a la carne, no al condimento, seguiré tratando!
