  • 1 liter of Water
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 3 cups of broccoli cut into medium size trees
  • 1/2 kilo of beef steak cut in tips
  • 1/4 of cup of cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon of paprika
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons of sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon of ginger finely chopped
  • 1/4 of cup of red onion finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of garlic finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of raw sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of chili flake


Heat a pot on high heat with water, salt and baking soda, dip broccoli florets and cook for 5 minutes- Remove and place the broccoli in ice water, drain.
In a bowl, mix the tips of beef fillet with corn starch, paprika, salt and pepper.
Heat a pan over medium heat with the sesame oil, cook the ginger, onion and garlic until bright, add the meat and cook until it changes color, add the soy, sugar and chili flakes.
Add the broccoli and cook 5 more minutes, season to taste and serve.


Serve with the chili seeds.


To avoid losing the green color of broccoli, a cooking method called "blanching" is used, which consists of immersing the vegetables in boiling water with salt for a few minutes and then produce a temperature shock, by submerging them in ice water.

Seguí la receta tal cual estaba escrita, los brócolis me quedaron verde brillante pero hechos una masa, y le puse la cucharada completa de sal que decía en la receta a la carne, me quedó saladisimo, podrían modificarla y ponerla "al gusto" para no hacer sufrir a más gente? . Quede muy desilusionada con el resultado.
