Ingredients

3 portions
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1/2 cups onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 cups curd
  • 1/4 cups epazote
  • pinches salt
  • to taste black pepper
  • 10 tortillas
  • 3 avocados
  • 1/4 cups lemon juice
  • 1/4 cups light cream
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1/4 cups fresh coriander
  • 2 habanero peppers, roast
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper
  • 1/4 cups Cotija cheese, fallen apart
  • 1/2 cups red onion

Preparation

In a frying pan heat the oil, add the onion, garlic, cottage cheese and epazote, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 10 minutes.
Fill the tortillas with the cottage cheese, form into cubes and fry.
For the avocado sauce, blend the avocado, lemon juice, cream, garlic powder, onion powder, cilantro, habanero pepper, salt and pepper.
Serve the tacos, pour in the avocado sauce, the cotija cheese and the red onion.
