This delicious recipe typical of Oaxaca consists of a mixture of spices, tomato and a touch of broad chili. Try to make this delicious dish your family will love. You can add bananas and pineapple slices.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 5 ancho chili peppers, washed and deveined
  • 2 liters Water
  • 4 tomatoes, washes
  • oils, the necessary
  • 1 kilo beef steak, ball
  • salt, to taste
  • 1 onion
  • 1/2 garlic, without the heart
  • 1 pinch cinnamon powder
  • 7 whole cloves
  • 1 pinch ground pepper
  • chicken consommé, to taste
  • 2 teaspoons sugar

Preparation

Boil the ancho peppers in a half liter of water, since they are soft add the tomatoes. These should be soft at the end of cooking. In a pressure cooker add the oil and place the steaks in the shape of a bed; add a pinch of salt between each of the steaks, cook for 5 minutes and reserve.
Grind the chiles with the onion and garlic, add the same water you used to boil them. Mix until you have a uniform mixture.
Grind a pinch of salt, cinnamon, cloves and pepper in a molcajete. Reservation
In a saucepan put a little oil to heat, pour the sauce you made. Let it boil and add the chicken consome and the salt and pepper mixture. Lower the flame and add the steaks little by little. If it is slightly thick you can add a little water while still moving.
Try the mixture and if you feel it is a bit spicy, add the tablespoons of sugar.
Let a last boil and extinguish the flame.

PRESENTATION

Serve with rice and beans from the pot.

TIPS

Do not forget the tortillas! The manchamanteles will leave a mark.
