Pulled pork pibil style is a Yucatan gastronomy recipe. Here we present an easy dish, with an amazing flavor. It´s an authentic preparation that you´ll never forget.

Ingredients

4 servings
  • 1/2 Cup of Water
  • 1 Cup of orange juice sour
  • 3 spoonfuls of Apple vinager
  • 100 grams of achiote
  • 1/4 of piece of White onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 teaspoonful of oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of cumin
  • 20 grams of Salt
  • 1 1/2 kilos of Pork Meat in chunks
  • 1 sheet of banana
  • 3 pieces of whole black pepper

    Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 190°C (375 °F)
    Blend all the ingredients except the banana leaves and the pork loin.
    Put the pork loin cut in cubes and marinate for 30 minutes.
    Cover and bake for 30 minutes 190°C (375 °F). Shred the pork using two forks.
    Remove banana leaves and serve covered with the salsa

    PRESENTATION

    Serve the pulled pork pibil style in a clay bowl with the banana leaves.

    TIPS

    For better flavor marinate the pulled pork overnight.
