The Traditional Res tinga recipe is one of the most traditional Mexican foods, as it is a very tasty homemade food that is very easy to prepare. This preparation is a simple recipe to make, perfect for making delicious tinga toast.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 500 grams flank steak, precooked and crumbled
  • 1 leave dry laurel
  • 500 grams roma tomato
  • 2 white onions
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 4 tablespoons chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
  • 4 tablespoons vegetal oil
  • salt, to taste
  • whole black peppers, to taste

Preparation

Slice the onion in julienne, cut the garlic into slices.
In a comal, toast the tomatoes, looking for them to brown evenly on all sides (for this, you have to constantly change their position). Once the skin is black, remove them from the heat and place them in a blender. Add the chipotle pepper, salt and pepper. Grind until a homogeneous paste is obtained.
To a pot add oil, add the onion. Once the onion looks transparent, add the tomato sauce and the sliced ​​jo. Cook for 20 minutes, if necessary, add a glass of water so that the preparation does not dry out too much.
Add the meat and cook for 10 more minutes.

PRESENTATION

You can present them on toast or in a pot so that everyone can make their own tacos.

TIPS

If you like spicy food, add a couple of chiles mecos.
