Preparing homemade food can be very simple with this recipe Panela Cheesecakes in Green Sauce. This inexpensive recipe has roasted Panela cheese with green habanero sauce and is also low in calories. Ingredients

  • 1 Cup of Panela cheese
  • 1 piece of egg
  • 1/4 of Cup of ground bread
  • 1 tablespoon of oregano
  • enough of salt and pepper
  • enough of oil to fry
  • 1/2 piece of onion In quarters
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 5 pieces of tomato
  • 2 pieces of habanero pepper
  • 1/2 Cup of coriander
  • 1 tablespoon of cumin whole
  • 3 pieces of allspices
  • 1/2 Cup of chicken soup
  • enough of avocado in a fan, to decorate
  • enough of red onion in strips, to decorate
  • enough of Panela cheese crumbled, to decorate

    Preparation

    In bowl, crumble the whole Panela cheese with your hands.
    Mix the cheese with the egg, the bread crumbs, the oregano and season to taste with salt and pepper.
    Form the cakes with your hands and fry them in a pan over medium heat with a little oil. Drain on absorbent paper. Reserve.
    For the green sauce, in a pan heat a tablespoon of oil and fry the onion, garlic, tomatoes, habanero pepper, cilantro, cumin, allspice, and cook until the vegetables soften.
    Fill with the chicken broth, cook until it is reduced by half and season to taste. Blend the previous preparation until a sauce is obtained.
    On a plate with the sauce as a base serve the cheesecakes on top, decorate with a fan of avocado, purple onion, and Panela cheese. Enjoy
