This recipe is a perfect combination of delicious Parmesan cheese, ricotta, mozzarella, with a mixture of ingredients such as chicken and spinach, which makes it a perfect dish as a main dish and the star of a special meal.

Ingredients

8 portions
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cups spinach, cut into strips
  • 2 cups parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 1/2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 3 cups chicken breast, cooked and crumbled
  • enough olive oil
  • 15 pieces pasta for lasagna, cooked sheets
  • 3 cups mozzarella cheese, grated

Preparation

In a skillet melt the butter over medium heat. When the butter is melted add the onion, garlic and cook for 2 minutes.
Add the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, ricotta cheese, chicken, and spinach. Season with salt and pepper. Reservation.
In a baking dish, place a layer of lasagna pasta and cover with the spinach, cheese and chicken mixture. Follow with another layer of pasta, chicken and spinach mixture, until you reach the top of your baking dish. Top everything with the grated mozzarella cheese. Bake for 15 minutes at 180 °, until the cheese is gratinated. Remove from the oven.
Cut the lasagna and serve on an extended plate, accompany with a salad.

TIPS

To find out if your lasagna sheets are cooked, check that they can be bent without breaking.
