Tostadas de Tinga de Nopales

This dish is ideal for watching you figure and for a Monday without meat since it does not contain any animal products, it is a delicious and original tinga of nopales, based on tomato sauce, onion and carrot, served on tostados with beans.

Ingredients

4 servings
  • 3 cups of nopal cut into strips
  • 1 tablespoon of Salt
  • 1 teaspoonful of baking soda
  • enough of Water
  • 6 pieces of tomato
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1/4 of Cup of Vegetables soup
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • 1/2 piece of onion filleted
  • 1 tablespoon of oregano
  • 1 teaspoonful of Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of black pepper
  • 1 Cup of carrot grated
  • 8 pieces of fried or toasted corn tortilla
  • 1 Cup of bean
  • to taste of avocado in slices to decorate

    Preparation

    In a pot of boiling water, put the nopales with salt and baking soda until cooked. Drain and reserve.
    For the caldillo, blend the tomatoes with the garlic, the chipotle chili, and the vegetable broth.
    In a deep pan, add the onion with oil, add the sauce, oregano, salt, pepper and cook for 15 minutes. Add nopales, carrots and cook for 5 more minutes. Adjust the seasoning.
    Serve the tinga on corn tostados with the beans and decorate with avocado.

    TIPS

    "Acitronar" is frying the onion or garlic in fat until it takes a translucent tone. Its name means that it must take on a color similar to the original acitrón.
