Prepare this vegan pizza-style dough and form a ring, which has no egg or meat. You can give that spongy touch with baking powder, which also helps control the growth of the dough.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups of flour for the masa
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder for the masa
  • 1 tablespoon of Salt for the masa
  • 3/4 of Cup of Water for the masa
  • 3 spoonfuls of olive oil for the masa
  • 1 tablespoon of parsley finely chopped, for the masa
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1/2 Cup of onion finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of garlic finely chopped
  • 2 chile de árbol peppers chopped
  • 2 cups of spinach cut into strips
  • 2 cups of fresh mushroom filleted
  • 1 Cup of curd vegan
  • enough of salt and pepper
  • enough of margarine melted, to glaze
  • enough of chili flake
  • enough of sesame seed

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.( 356°F)
In a blender add flour, baking powder, salt, water, olive oil and parsley. Knead with the hook until you get a soft and smooth dough. Rest for 20 minutes.
In a skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil, sauté the onion with the garlic, the chile de árbol. Add the spinach and cook until they release their juices, add the mushrooms, season with salt and pepper.
Add the vegan curd and cook for 5 more minutes. Rectify seasoning, remove and cool.
On a floured surface, spread the dough to a thickness of 3 mm, using a circular lid cut a circumference of 35 cm in diameter. Make cuts to the center with a knife, forming an asterisk.
Add the filling around the cuts and join the tips end to end, place in a baking tray, varnish with margarine and sprinkle with flakes of chili and sesame seeds.
Bake for 20 minutes, accompany with hummus.
