Ingredients

10 portions
  • 1 kilo tortilla dough, (dough)
  • 400 grams lard, (dough)
  • salt, to taste (mass)
  • 1 package banana leaf
  • 1 cup refried beans, (filling)
  • 1/2 cups chipotle chili, (filling)
  • 1 goat cheese, natural (stuffing)
  • salt, to taste (stuffing)
  • black pepper, to taste (stuffing)

Preparation

Beat the dough with the butter and salt until smooth. Reservation.
Cut the banana leaves into approximately 20 cm pieces, spread them so they are soft, spread over the dough that you reserved and in the center distribute the filling ingredients. A little bit of beans, goat cheese, a bit of chipotle and salt rectified.
Fold in wallet form and place in a steamer. Cook for an hour or until the dough comes off easily from the leaves.

PRESENTATION

On a fresh banana leaf, put a tamale without the wrap. You can sprinkle some goat cheese to make it look cute.
