Grilled pork chops, accompanied by a Del Fuerte® Natural Tomato Puree sauce with the sweet-sour taste of tamarind, a touch of ginger and to finish pineapple slices to accompany.

Ingredients

8 servings
  • 3 teaspoons of Butter
  • 1/2 piece of White onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons of ginger finely chopped
  • 1/2 Cup of pineapple cut into small cubes
  • 1 teaspoonful of sugar
  • 1 Cup of tamarind concentrate
  • 1 Cup of Pure Natural Tomato Puree®
  • 1/2 Cup of chicken soup
  • 1 twig of thyme
  • 16 pieces of smoked pork chop
  • 1 kilo of pineapple cut into sheets of 1 cm wide, 5 cm long and high

    Preparation

    Add finely chopped butter, garlic and ginger in a medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, add the pieces of pineapple and continue cooking for 5 minutes more, add the teaspoon of sugar, the tamarind concentrate, the Natural Tomato Puree Del Fuerte® moves to dissolve well and cook for 5 more minutes. Finally, add the thyme, the chicken broth, mix and let reduce so that the flavor of the sauce is concentrated. Reservation.
    Heat the grill over high heat, cook the chops and the pineapple slices until they are cooked with the classic marks of the grill. Reservation.
    Serve the chops and sauté with the bittersweet preparation. Serve with pineapple slices to decorate.
