Bananas Stuffed with Meat

This preparation is very typical of Colombia, it is a rich dish based on a banana stuffed with shredded meat prepared with a very traditional sauce called Colombian Hagao. These delicious bananas are topped with mozzarella cheese and served with a little fresh cilantro.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup white onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 2 cups tomtato, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper, milled
  • 1 cup beef, shredded
  • 1/4 cups oil
  • 2 plantain, peeled, whole and boiled
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cups fresh coriander

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
For the Hago, heat a pan over medium heat with the oil, cook the onion, garlic, tomato, season with cumin, salt and pepper. Add the meat and cook 15 minutes. Cools the preparation of old clothes.
In a skillet over medium heat, fry the bananas with the oil until they turn color and soften completely. Drain on absorbent paper and cool.
On an oven tray, cut the bananas in half and hollow with the help of a spoon. Fill with the meat, cover with mozzarella cheese and gratin in the oven.
Serve bananas and garnish with fresh coriander. Enjoy

Serve on a plate and garnish with coriander leaves.

TIPS

Be careful when cutting bananas because they will be very soft and can break. With the help of a spoon, use them to make them more filling.
