This Recipe for Meatloaf is very easy to make. You only need 8 ingredients to cook it and it's amazing how rich tasting it is. The meatloaf has bread crumbs, this helps to give it a crunchy consistency, in addition to unifying the ingredients together. Ingredients

6 servings
  • 1 kilo of ground beef
  • 1/2 Cup of ground bread
  • 1 piece of egg
  • 1 Cup of onion finely chopped
  • 2 spoonfuls of garlic finely chopped
  • 4 spoonfuls of ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon of mustard
  • 2 teaspoons of parsley finely chopped
  • enough of Salt
  • enough of black pepper
  • 12 slices of bacon
  • enough of ketchup to glaze
  • enough of parsley to decorate

    Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 180 °C. (356°F)
    In a bowl, mix the ground beef with the bread crumbs, the egg, the onion, the garlic, the ketchup, the mustard, the parsley, the salt and the pepper.
    Take approximately 150g (about 5 oz.) of the meat mixture and give it a circular shape with your hands. Wrap with bacon and place in a greased baking tray or lined with parchment paper. Glaze the surface of the mini loafs and the bacon with ketchup.
    Bake for 15 minutes or until the meat is cooked and the bacon browned.
    Serve with parsley, accompanied by salad and pasta.

    PRESENTATION

    On an extended plate accompany with roasted potatoes, pasta and fine herbs.

    TIPS

    You can mix in ground pork, to give it more flavor. In addition to providing flavor, the bacon helps preserve the juices of the meat and shape the loaf. Use a good quality bacon to reduce excess fat.

    Muy rico y fácil de preparar, yo cambie el perejil por cilantro y el catsup por salsa barbecue pero es cosa de gustos.

    Esta rico! Muy rico, solo que tuve que dejarlo por más tiempo. Mucho más tiempo, y creo que para la próxima que lo vuelva hacer cambiaría el perejil por cilantro. Creo que quedará mejor asi. Lo demás esta rico!
