5 portions
  • 4 tablespoons Flour bread, (pre-cooked)
  • 2 tablespoons wheat flour
  • 1/2 kilos meatloaf, prepared to taste
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 2 grams salt
  • 2 grams sugar
  • 1 cup Water, necessary
  • 1 egg
  • 2 grams black pepper
  • 2 grams oregano

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C (degrees Celsius).
Flour the tray or the mold where the empanadas are going to be placed.
For the mass of the pie: Place in a bowl the bread flour, the wheat flour, the teaspoon of butter, the pinch of salt and the pinch of sugar; Mix and integrate all these ingredients with the amount of water needed.
Once the mass of the empanadas is mixed and well integrated, stop letting rest.
In a deep dish add the egg, a pinch of salt, a pinch of pepper, a pinch of oregano and beat until it is well integrated.
Add the roasted meat (previously prepared to taste) to the egg mixture and integrate them until you get an even mix.
Once the meat is mixed with the egg, it is time to put the empanadas together, so grab our dough and make small balls with it, which fit in the palm of your hand.
With the help of a rolling pin, stretch the dough until you have a flat, round and thin dough.
In the center of our flattened dough we add a spoonful of our meat and egg mixture.
We close the dough, making the traditional shape of the pie and we are accommodating it in the tray or baking pan.
we repeat these last steps until we get all our empanadas.
Once we have them all in the tray or mold, we will take them to the oven for approximately 30 minutes; we have to rotate the empanadas every 10 min so that they are evenly brown on all sides.
Once they are golden, it is time to turn off the oven and leave them for 5 more minutes. and that's it! time to taste and eat this wonderful preparation.

Decorate your plate with plenty of grated cheese, I like very much the smoked cheese or the grated semi-hard cheese, but you can use the one you prefer and still it will be very tasty.

In order to be baked in a more uniform way we have to turn the empanadas every so often, so that each of their sides is cooked and browned evenly.
