The Mexican hash is a delicious dish that can be made for the daily meal. A complete dish with meat and vegetables and that is very versatile to eat in toast, taquitos or alone. Ingredients

4 servings
  • 6 tomatoes in quarters, for the sauce
  • 1 clove of garlic for the sauce
  • 1/4 of piece of onion for the sauce
  • 3 spoonfuls of oil
  • 1/2 onion finely chopped
  • 600 grams of ground beef beef
  • 1/4 of Cup of tomato puree optional
  • 3 potatoes peeled and diced
  • 2 pieces of serrano pepper finely chopped
  • 2 carrots peeled and diced
  • 1/2 Cup of pea
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of ground cumin
  • 1 sheet of laurel
  • 1 teaspoonful of Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of black pepper
  • enough of rice To accompany
  • enough of tortilla To accompany
  • enough of bean To accompany

    Preparation

    Blend tomatoes, garlic and onion. Reservation.
    In a skillet over high heat, heat the oil and cook the onion, then add the meat and cook for 7 minutes or until it changes color. Add the tomato puree and cook two more minutes.
    Add the vegetables and cook for two minutes. Add the sauce and spices, let it boil and simmer for 20 minutes or until the liquid has reduced.
    Season and serve.

    PRESENTATION

    Serve with rice and accompany with tortillas and beans.

    TIPS

    Combine ground beef with ground pork and it will be richer.
