Grilled Hamburger with Starred Egg

These hamburgers are wrapped in bacon and stuffed with egg, which makes them extra special and delicious. With this recipe, your next barbecue will have a special touch and not just the classic hamburgers we always make. We recommend forming all hamburgers with the same size, so that they are cooked evenly.

Ingredients

5 portions
  • 500 grams ground beef, beef
  • 500 grams ground beef, pork
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1/4 cups onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh coriander, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chili flake
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper
  • 5 slices manchego cheese
  • 5 slices cheddar cheese
  • 20 slices bacon
  • 1 white onion
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 5 San Juan® Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon parsley, finely chopped
  • 5 hamburger buns
  • enough mayonnaise, at your service
  • enough mustard, at your service
  • enough lettuce, at your service
  • enough potato, Gajo, to accompany

Preparation

In a bowl, mix the ground beef with pork, mustard, onion, garlic, parsley, cilantro, chili flakes, and season with salt and pepper.
It weighs 200 g portions of meat and stuffed with cheddar cheese and manchego. Give it the shape of a hamburger with your hands, taking care that the cheese is well covered with meat.
Wrap each hamburger with bacon, if necessary secure with a stick.
Prepare the grill at 200 ° C and cook the burgers over direct heat for 10 minutes, turning halfway through cooking. Turn on indirect heat and cook for another 10 minutes or until an internal temperature of 62 ° C to 65 ° C is obtained.
Preheat a cast iron skillet on the grill over direct heat, add a tablespoon of olive oil, place the onion rings and shell each piece of San Juan® Egg in the center of the onion.
Season with parsley, salt and pepper. Cook over direct heat for 3 to 5 minutes or at the desired end of the egg and remove.
Heat the bread on the grill over direct heat, spread with mayonnaise, mustard and place the lettuce, meat and onion ring with crashed egg.
Serve accompanied by potato wedges and a refreshing drink.
