Hamburgers with Blue Cheese

To prepare gourmet burgers, I recommend this recipe for blue cheese burgers. The blue cheese will give you a sensational taste that you will surely love.

  • 1 1/9 kilos ground beef
  • pepper
  • salt
  • 1 onion, in slices (optional)
  • oils
  • blue cheeses, to taste
  • 6 hamburger buns
  • lettuce
  • 1 egg
  • English sauces, to taste


Preheat the grill over high heat.
Mix the ground meat, the egg, the English sauce, salt and pepper.
Prepare the hamburgers. Divide the meat into 6 equal portions and with wet hands form burgers 10 cm wide and 2 cm thick. (It is not necessary to compact the meat too much) Season both sides with salt and pepper.
Coat the onion with oil.
Put the hamburger meats on the hottest part of the grill and cook until its internal temperature reaches 63 degrees (about 4-6 minutes per side).
If desired, also place the onion slices on the grill, turning them 1 time between 4-5 minutes on each side.
One minute before the meat is ready, put the blue cheese on top.
Also a minute before the meat is ready, place the bread down on the grill so that it is hot (on the less hot part of the grill).
Prepare the hamburgers. Put the meat with the melted cheese on the bread, then the lettuce and onion.
