This recipe is a delicious dish of meatloaf from the house so you can enjoy it with your whole family. Prepare this traditional dish and accompany it with fresh water, either horchata, lemon or jamaica; and also add tortillas.

Ingredients

6 portions
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 onions, girl finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1/3 cups ranchero sauce
  • 1/4 cups White rice
  • peppermint, cool
  • salt
  • Water
  • 750 grams sirloin, ground
  • 2 tomatoes, ripe finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons onion, chopped
  • 1 egg white
  • black pepper
  • 4 twigs peppermint

Preparation

Sofrito the onion and garlic in a large pot over medium-high heat with a little olive oil.
When the onion has crystallized, add the ranchera sauce, water, rice, mint and salt.
Heat until boiling.
Meanwhile, combine ground beef with tomatoes, 2 tablespoons onion, egg white, mint, salt and pepper.
Form balls and put them in the pot with the boiling liquid.
Reduce the flame, cover and cook over low heat for 30 minutes or until the meat is cooked and the rice is tender.
