Ingredients

6 portions
  • 1/2 kilos ground beef
  • 1/2 cups white onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cups parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cups ground bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon thyme
  • 1/2 cups basil, fresh cut into strips
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cups mozzarella cheese, cut into cubes
  • 10 slices bacon
  • 1 Prego® Mushroom Sauce
  • 1/2 cups whipping cream
  • 1/2 cups parmesan cheese
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 1/2 cups basil, fresh, to decorate

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
In a bowl mix the ingredients of the meatballs, season to your liking and reserve.
With the help of your hands form balls, form a small hole with your finger in the center of the meatball, stuffed with mozzarella cheese and close it.
Wrap the meatballs in the bacon slices, cover well.
Place them on a tray and bake until the bacon is golden brown. Reservation.
For the sauce, heat a frying pan over medium heat and add the Prego® Sauce with mushrooms, the cream to beat, add Parmesan cheese and season to your liking. Add the meatballs to the preparation, finish with fresh basil. Serve and enjoy.
