Stewed Meatballs Stuffed with Cheese

Do not forget to prepare these incredible beef dumplings stuffed with asadero cheese with a delicious sauce made with La Costeña® gravy and a spicy chipotle chile flavor. They are ideal for lunchtime and their cheese center makes all the difference.

Ingredients

  • 600 grams of ground beef
  • 1/3 of Cup of ground bread
  • 1 teaspoonful of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoonful of onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons of oregano
  • 2 spoonfuls of mustard
  • to taste of salt and pepper
  • 1 piece of egg
  • 1 Cup of Asadero cheese in small cubes
  • 2 spoonfuls of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of Butter
  • 1/4 of piece of onion chopped
  • 1 clove of Garlic chopped
  • 1/4 of Cup of pore chopped
  • 1 stem of celery chopped
  • 1 piece of carrot chopped
  • 1 can of Gravy by Res La Costeña®
  • 2 cups of beef broth
  • 1/4 of Cup of Chile Chipotle La Costeña® in Adobo
  • 2 spoonfuls of oil
  • to taste of salt and pepper

    Preparation

    For the meatballs, in a bowl mix the meat with the ground bread, the garlic, the onion, the oregano, the mustard, the salt, the pepper and the egg.
    With the help of your hands form the meatballs stuffing with the cubes of cheese. Reservation.
    In a deep pan, heat oil with butter and cook onion, garlic, pore, celery, and carrot. Add the La Costeña® gravy, the beef broth and the La Costeña® chipotle. Let it boil, remove from heat and cool slightly.
    Blend the previous preparation until a homogeneous sauce is obtained.
    In the same pan, seal the meatballs over high heat with a little oil. Add the sauce, lower the heat and let the covered meatballs cook until they are cooked. About 30 minutes, season with salt and pepper.
    Serve with the sauce.

    PRESENTATION

    It is served with white rice.

    TIPS

    You can use the cheese of your choice as Manchego or mozzarella.
